Part 1: Evaluation of AI-Generated Lesson Plan

    The AI-generated lesson is structured with homework, an extension task, guided practice, individual practice, and a conversation. It aligns with Oklahoma state standard 1.2.R.1, as students identify the main idea and supporting details of a text. It also aligns with ISTE standard 1.3.c: Curate Information, because students use Seesaw to organize and collect information digitally, creating a collection of artifacts that demonstrates their understanding of the text. While organized, the lesson is fairly introductory in rigor.

Asking children to compare and contrast seasons, explain how details support the central theme, or provide their own summary of the text can improve critical thinking. Part 2 & 3
    Exploring Magic School was fun and engaging. I used several tools, including Raina, the Rubric Generator, Lesson Plan Generator, Standard Unpacker, Worksheet Generator, Multiple-Choice Quiz, and Prompt Assistant. These tools help teachers save time by creating lesson plans, rubrics, and assessments that align with state standards. I found them very useful because they produce effective and detailed plans when given specific information about learning goals and student needs. I would use Magic School to both deliver instruction and assess learning, especially to support diverse learners such as students with IEPs or English language needs.

    I would definitely recommend Magic School to colleagues because it makes planning efficient and supports engaging instruction. The only challenge is that it requires detailed input to generate accurate results. This aligns with Oklahoma’s guidance on using AI responsibly to enhance—not replace—teaching. I have not used other AI classroom tools yet, but this experience showed me how helpful they can be.

Children have access to computers, toys, and books at the Warr Acres, Belle Isle, and Patience S.   Introduction In the Oklahoma City metro area, young children have access to library technology programs, but many parents lack guidance on using digital tools intentionally for learning. My technology integration plan focuses on parent workshops at the Belle Isle Library, Warr Acres Library, and Patience S. Latting Northwest Library. These workshops aim to help parents use technology purposefully to support early literacy, numeracy, and STEAM development.
