Federal Funding Opportunities to Support Educational Technology and Close the Digital Divide
Access to educational technology is no longer just about devices, but about ensuring families and educators have the support needed to use them effectively. In the Oklahoma City metro area, my technology integration plan for the Metropolitan Library System focuses on supporting parents of children ages 0–8 through bilingual online tutorials, optional in-person workshops, and ongoing engagement tracking. While this plan can be implemented using existing library resources, federal funding can expand access and sustainability.
